Since 2008, Sunny Zia has served in the roles of Contract Compliance Manager and Project Manager at the Port of Long Beach in California. Prior to this position, Sunny Zia earned an MS in water resources from the University of California, Irvine, which recently received news that more than 30 of its graduate programs were ranked in the top 25 programs among public universities by US News & World Report.
As a testament to its commitment to academic excellence at the graduate level, the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) has had 31 programs rank in the top 25 in the nation among public universities. In addition, 11 of these programs placed in the top 10 among public universities. Of particular note is UC Irvine’s PhD program in criminology, law, and society, which ranked second in the country overall (public and private).
The university’s other top programs include education, which placed seventh among public programs; English, which ranked eighth among public programs; sociology, which ranked ninth among public programs; and literary criticism and theory, which ranked second among public programs and seventh overall.
